The deadline for abstract submission for podium or poster presentations is 23rd April, 2017 (23:59 GMT+1, Paris time). All abstracts should be submitted electronically on the ISDM-IAPO-2017 website (other formats will not be accepted). Each person may be the first author of only one abstract, but there is no limit on the number of abstracts an individual may co-author.

To submit your abstract, you must register on the dedicated ISDM-IAPO-2017 website.

  • The abstract must be written in English.
  • The proposal is limited to 300 words.
  • Please provide 5 keywords.
  • Please specify your format preference (podium or poster presentation).
  • Please indicate the session for which you wish to submit your abstract.

Abstracts will be accepted and assigned to podium or poster presentations by the members of the scientific board. The corresponding author will be notified by e-mail of the result of the peer-review by May 31st, 2017. Programmatic requirements may result in moving some abstracts from podium to poster format. Also, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to your preferred session.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Bulletin of the International Association for Paleodontology.

Two prizes will be offered to young researchers (Master, PhD or Postdoc):

  • The best speaker will receive the Albert A. Dahlberg award.
